STRO ELLIOT: Solid State

Hot on the heels of last single Monday’s Generation comes the next one from Stro Elliot – Solid State – even more chilled and stylistically rather different. “I don’t know if I’ve ever made anything that felt like this before,” says Elliot of the track in which woozy synths and panpipes weave around each other on top of a lurching slo-mo beat not unlike a happy drunk going about their business. Like the previous single this one comes from Elliot’s forthcoming La Villa LP on Def Pressé/ KPM – part of a series in which respected producers get the keys to the KPM library music vaults and rustle up some dope with what they’ve found and sampled therein.
(Out now on Def Pressé)
