You can’t say that French producer The Offline doesn’t appreciate his fans. Upon receiving an Instagram message explaining how his music had helped fan Nael through tough times, The Offline was straight onto making a track for Nael! What to call it though? Hmm – tough one, maybe…Pour Nael? Yep, that should do it! As indeed should yet another mellow cinematic soulscape inspired by France’s surf-obsessed Atlantic West Coast along with the work of David Axelrod and (more recently) Surprise Chef and The Ironsides. A gentle drum break, jangly guitar and Rhodes n flute-y niceness all conspire to create that chilled post-surf feeling and before you know it you’re mentally camping out in the dunes and looking forward to that morning glass.
