Tru Funk’s latest signing, Kiwi producer The Beat Selecta, invites one and all to Hop On The Floor with this three-tracker. First up is the title track or (‘nu-funk hooray’ as I like to think of it) which co-opts the acapella from Naughty By Nature’s most famous number. Then he goes all nu-funk with Nancy Sinatra co-opting her most famous number and grafting on an electro break. Finally it’s time for the uniting of funk music’s most famous luminaries on Hot Pants Heroes. Well – what else would you call it?
