If you were paying attention back in July, you might have caught the single release of the 90s jazzy hip-hop-style title track of this EP by N-Fusion – a duo consisting of Bristol producer and instrumentalist Claire Sibley and L.A. rapper and beatmaker Haph Breed. Second single You’ve Changed Me followed in August, rocking a piano-led R&B/ hip-hop vibe and the full EP was all set to drop in early autumn until it was hit with distribution issues. Fast forward to now and, slightly later than planned, the International Connection Vol. 1 EP is finally here in all its glory. Of the remaining four tracks, Introducing feat. Sabotaj provides more jazzy hip-hop thrills drawing from 80s fusion influences, while Peaceful Blessings and The Coming Attraction opt for a 90s R&B feel. What you’re really going to want this for however is the gorgeous In These Streets – which features Haph Breed dropping bars over an emotive piano-led beat and a rolling drum break.
