DOCTOR PETIER: Prologue (2016)

The-Prologue-Doctor-PetierThe NHS might be short of doctors in the early twenty-first century but the world of popular music is quite another matter. Say hello to Doctor Petier who is (or perhaps more accurately ‘are’) shortly to deliver wider access to essential funk services. The forthcoming album features drumming from sticksmen of renown Donald Johnson (A Certain Ratio) and Myke Wilson (of cult 90s Manchester outfit Dust Junkys) which bodes well, though details are sketchy apart from that. A bit like Tory plans for the NHS. Audio at the moment is limited to creepy spacefunk synths, ominous piano and promisingly crunchy drums which soundtrack the video for Prologue. Check it below…
