Fuck an umbrella, when the funk rains down, it’s time to get wet. The Boogie Man goes all out to ensure that you get drenched with their debut single. It’s a update on the 70s boogie funk template and is all but sporting a safari suit and oversize sunglasses as it ushers you onto the dancefloor. The Boogie Man is the latest project from the prime movers behind Los Charlys Orchestra – Juan Laya and Jorge Montiel both of whom have a production credit on this but only one of whom appears to play live, albeit in the company of four others. Boogie men then! Beware of.
