SOUL SUGAR feat. JOLLY JOSEPH: Just A Little Talk

Guillaume Metenier’s Soul Sugar crew continue to deliver classy roots reggae on the new single and title track from forthcoming album Just A Little Talk. A chilled, organ-laced groove, it’s full of sunshine and finds Dub Shepherds’ Jolly Joseph delivering a Junior Murvin-type falsetto vocal. It even gets a bit dubby at various points, especially on the outro. Not enough dub for you? Fear not, Dub Shepherds sort a full dub version out too and imagine what they get up to if the original already has dubby bits on it! That’s right – everything turned up to ‘eleven’ – bass, echo, hiss and FX!
