Some long overdue love here for the first UK hip-hop act to sign with Kamikazi Airlines, the label owned and run by Dizzy Dustin of UD fame. That’ll be The Scribes then who’ve penned dope number, Positive Vibes, which turns on a sweet bit of piano tinkling and features a catchy reggae-influenced vocal hook. The accompanying video features the band down by law in all senses of the phrase as they trade verses whilst ‘helping police with their enquiries’ having apparently killed a sizeable number of people with ‘positive vibes.’ Also stars the brick fortress of Bristol’s Trinity Road police station which I have absolutely not ever seen the inside of for any reason.
