Taking a break from the reggae hip-hop to head in a funkier direction, the Uluru edits and mashups label goes large in cooking up a tasty treat with the JB-powered beats. On side A, Brand Nu, the tersely-named RBL splices together some of The Minister of the New New Super Heavy Funk’s heaviest samples for 105 bpm funky breakbeat fun. On the flip, you’ll find Brand Nu Touch – a vocal version of the same beat with the bars sprinkled atop it supplied courtesy of one Mr Busta Rhymes in the form of his Touch It acapella. Yet another Uluru sureshot. Let the dancefloor carnage commence!
