Out just last Friday, the latest musical missive from the Fold camp couldn’t be more timely – especially given the speed at which global military-political manoeuvres have been unfolding since Putin’s victorious U.S. presidential candidate took up the reigns of power. Over off-kilter psychedelic guitars and a heavy reverbed drum-break, Fold line up a historical political speech which basically revolves around justifying why the USA had been forced to develop a permanent large-scale arms industry (i.e. as a result of WW2 and post-WW2 external threats) while simultaneously warning of the perils of letting said industry gain too much power and signing off with a hopeful message that, “In the goodness of time, all peoples will come to live together in a peace guaranteed by the binding force of mutual respect and love.” What woke, libtard, commie snowflake came up with that load of steaming horseshit? Why – former Republican President Eisenhower, of course. How times have changed.
