Here’s the second piece of single-based news from the Oz-based funk soul community this week on MB because like fellow travellers The Bamboos, Cookin’ On 3 Burners also have new material in the oven. In C3B’s case it’s a new 45 with two sides of vocal tracks featuring the talents of Stella Angelico – their resident live show vocalist. On this one, side A is the energetic upbeat one, I’mI’m Comin’ Home To You Comin’ Home To You, on which Angelico declares her love for her man, while side B is the slow-burning, emotional torch song, Whole Woman on which Angelico is looking out for a whole man to take on – well – her whole woman. That’s both sides of the soul divide covered then!
