There might be a load of old guff on social media that London is under Sharia Law and the road signs change to Arabic at Reading (which begs the question ‘Why do so many of the headbangers that say this stuff move to Dubai?) but they’ve utterly missed the real problem in the capital. Not so Cheeba’s Funky Rock Ensemble whose cultural radar has pinpointed the obvious scourge that is Drug-Crazed London Hippies! That’s right – drug-crazed London Hippies! Free-loading, free-loving, tie-dye-wearing, acid-dropping, flower-sporting bastards! It’s enough to have you making a right old racket isn’t it? Maybe a Rick Rubin-esque chunky drum break, cut-up rock guitar riffage and a strident vocal sample? Yep, that should do it. Oh, you want a B-side as well? Jesus (!) – who, incidentally, many of those unwashed hippies resemble – alright then, what about You Wanna Ride? More of the same but arguably even more tripped out. Yeah alright, they do sound pretty good.
