Originally dropping as a digital-only single by the UK’s premier mambo ‘n salsa outfit, Mambo Orchestra International, Mi Mambo got big support from the likes of Craig Charles, Cerys Matthews and Huey Morgan on BBC Radio 6. Now it’s getting a well-deserved vinyl 45 release but what to put on the flipside? Maybe a remix? But who to ask? I wonder…might Latin-fiend Si Cheeba of Echo Chamber Records/ Echo Labs/ Cheeba’s Latin Bros. be interested? Does a bear shit in the woods? Cheeba had something muy caliente cooked-up within mere days and the rest will be history when this drops in a few days.
