If you’ve been reading the monkey or listening to Craig Charles BBC 6 Funk & Soul Show in the last year, you might well have been alerted to the ‘smoking hot funk beast’ that is Estonian six-piece Lexsoul Dancemachine. Sweeping out of eastern Europe with their eleven-track debut LP Deus Lex Machina, the band have left a trail of scorched live music venues in their wake and now it’s the UK’s turn. Their soul-funk-with-mod-vocals burner Anybody’s Business is available on the latest volume of the ongoing MB free compilation Filthy Rhythm, Dirty Soul Vol. 7 and you can check out a vid. of the band performing album track Tell Me, Tell Me live below along with, of course, the tour dates to find out where to catch them in the next week.
