Before their new long player drops on 6 November, there’s just time for Melbourne’s most famous funk outfit to squeeze out a third and final single and that’s this one – On & On featuring Reginald AK. It’s not the first time the Steppers’ singer has featured on Bamboos material having turned up twice on 2023’s This Is How You Do It album on Safe From Harm and Bored. On & On has rather less in common with the former’s gentle synth-powered nod-along and rather more with the latter’s groove-powered funkiness. On & On is more uptempo though – what you might call an uprock-ready dancefloor cut – though the groove is subtle as opposed to in your face. Stay tuned for more Bamboos news shortly.
