SAM REDMORE: Pride

Starting life as a commission for a Joe Lycett TV show, it seems Sam Redmore felt there was a lot more to be done with the music that formed the basis for what has become new single Pride. And that’s why, after gaining the ok from Lycett things have ended up as they have – i.e. with a Salsoul-style, horns-drenched disco beast. It glitters, it spangles, it grandstands and it’s lifted from the forthcoming eight-track Sam Redmore long player, Modulate, which drops later this month and constitutes the folow-up to his debut album from two years ago – Universal Vibrations.
