Here it is then – Summer Nights – the first single off the forthcoming Lack Of Afro LP From The Volt, One. Wait a minute! Is that a shocking pun (see what I did there?) in the new LP title? It certainly is – for the new album is comprised of tracks that, for one reason or other, have never previously seen the light of day over the years. Take Summer Nights which LOA originally started to make when he was putting together debut LP Press On. Turns out it didn’t have quite the same vibe as the other material and so got shelved, sitting on an old hard drive for well over a decade, before our man dug it out again. Then a few more years passed until it got finished. But – uh oh those summer nights (thank you, I’m here all week!) – you’ll be glad he did finish it so that its warm and summery orchestral soul can grace your ears. The From The Volt, One LP follows this November.
