FOLD feat. MR GEE: Dark Matters

Their tenth collab. in eleven years finds Leeds outfit Fold, team-up with Mr Gee for new single Dark Matters. While Fold deliver swirly atmospherics over a chilled hip-hop beat, Gee comes on with an anti-war message. It’s less sticking it to the man than a world-weary knowingness about, ‘the darkness of men’s hearts’ though – albeit slightly more uplifting that Golding’s message in Lord Of The Flies by encouraging listeners to consider the impact of humanity’s imperfections on itself within the context of time and the universe. Or something.
