The sun’s out, it’s summer, there’s a barbecue, live graffiti and you’ve got the likes of Wrongtom and the Ragga Twins on hand – what you gonna do? Have a roof party of course – which is exactly what the Tru Thoughts label are doing next weekend! I went to a London summer roof party once, somewhere in Camden. Everyone was getting hammered, there was a barbecue, music (not live) and every time a double decker bus went past we were right on the same level as the people on the top deck. Cue much hilarity and antics. The best antics came from the couple in the flat opposite though. The young woman raised her arms at us in solidarity and her boyfriend came up behind her and raised her top right up to her armpits. It went down better on our side of the road. Still – that was Camden ten years ago. This one’s in Dalston – can’t promise you any nudity – if you go you’ll just have to make a good breast of it.
