THE OFFLINE: Un Bout De Chemin

Get onboard with The Offline and head out on ‘a bit of a journey’ to planet cinematic soul with new single Un Bout De Chemin. The track is the next one to be lifted from our man’s forthcoming debut LP La Couleur De La Mer which is all set to be a listener’s delight if this cut is anything to go by. Clearly inspired by soundtracks and library music of the past – especially the work of Francois De Roubaix (with over fifty film and TV scores to his name between 1961 -1975, including Girl Slaves Of Morgana Le Fay!) this one features a funky drum pattern, synths and a cello ostinato and by way of a dramatic structure evokes, as its creator explains, “someone…pursuing a goal.”
