The last time The Niceguys and Bobby Saint teamed up it was for the Prince-meets-party-breakbeats Power back in April. Clearly aware that that recipe ain’t broke, they make sure they don’t ‘fix’ it and now provide Strip It as well. This also features bars from Prop Dylan and is no less funky and Prince-like a take on party breaks than its predecessor, though nonetheless both a tad slower and more intense. Still, ‘Strip it, babe,’ might sound a bit saucy but it’s probably an exhortation for a lover to keep things simple and/ or stop playing games, right? Actually, no, maybe it is pretty saucy, “At a glance you look so fine/ Delicious like good old wine/ Just let me hit it then…push rewind.” Also comes with an instro version.
