Soul Tune Allstars is a new Scandinavian soul project with producer and bandleader Niclas Wretelid from Sweden and Mikko Räisänen (guitarist for Chicken Grass) at its core whose forthcoming LP The Soul Of The Viking (see what they did there?) is in the offing. Before that though, there’s time for at least this single featuring two vocal cuts lifted from the LP – the blaxpoitation-esque Looking For Trouble featuring the mighty Carlton Jumel Smith and the slowly swinging butter-smooth soul of Oh Your Love featuring Maria Sanchez. And it’s hard to imagine anyone complaining about either of those.
