Last heard of round these parts gracing every track on Prince Fatty’s deceptively-titled Disco Deception reggae EP, Shniece returns to work with another highly regarded reggae producer and musician Guillaume Metenier for his Soul Sugar project on new single Top Of My List. It’s the first collaboration between the two and finds both in full reggae soul mode with the Soul Sugar band providing a smoothly hypnotic groove drenched in smouldering organ licks and Shniece delivering a yearning vocal over the top. Comes with a dub mix on the flip. Don’t be surprised if this one ends up – well – top of your list!
