PAUL SITTER: Hip-Hop Delivery (The Remixes Vol. 1)

Stand by for the first volume of remixes of Paul Sitter’s top Hip-Hop Delivery album from the summer. All Good Funk Alliance are first out of the stalls with a stripped-back but still funky version of the Andy Cooper-featuring Your Move that nods to late seventies/ early eighties hip-hop before Mined Music replaces the funky boom-bap of the Craig G-featuring Global Chemistry with spacey boom-clap. King Of Rock meanwhile finds itself re-done in a bass-funk stylee, a bit of wobble-bass creeping in and the Run-DMC-isms toned way down while Freethinker Funk Essence’s rerub of Nothing Gonna Change His Way is even more blissed-out than the original. Of the final two cuts, Roast Beatz provides another take on Go Move – this time heading in a four-to-the-floor nu-disco direction and Towlie DJ goes all drum n bass on the spaghetti western b-boy breaks of B-Boy Impressions.
