Two years on from the label’s Latin Fever Vol. 2 comes Vol. 3 featuring tracks from Luchito & Nestor and also two from Nestor (Alvarez – a.k.a. label owner Neil Anderson) solo. First up is Luchito & Nestor’s blistering Latin boogaloo take on The Olympics’ hit Good Lovin’ which also comes complete with a mostly instrumental Part 2 on which a flute topline replaces lead vocals. Flip things over and you’re greeted with another uptempo boogaloo groover in the form of the horns and piano-led instro La Gordita Americana before the skeletal xylophone led-funkiness of Ixo’s Taxi takes you all the way back home.
