Never ones to pass up a remix opportunity when one arises, Suckaside noticed that they could do something with Loyal Carner’s Ain’t Nothing Changed off his 2017 debut LP Yesterday’s Gone. Yesterday’s gone? I’ll tell you what’s gone – that sombre woodwind-led jazz sample. That’s right – and it’s been replaced with a bit of Dionne Warwick’s soul slowie Walk The Way You Talk. Just to be clear, that’s a song with lyrics about how nothing’s changed now paired with a sample from a song in which the lyrics beg a guy to make a change. See what Suckaside did there? That’s right, they thought about stuff! Not a lot of it about. Oh – and it’s a bit faster now. Loyal Carner’s Ain’t Nothing Changed remixed by Suckaside then – something’s changed.
