[RATING: 5] It’s been a while since MB has done a free download, hasn’t it? I know what you’re thinking though – you’re thinking ‘What am I after?’ And the answer my friends is is ‘a funked-up chunk of old school hip-hop.’ Luckily for you Toy Beats has been busy with Lords Of The Underground’s Redman-featuring What I’m After from ’94 album Keepers of The Funk. Happily TB is himself something of a keeper of the funk and has replaced the jazzy-boom-bap flavours of the original with something altogether more – well – funky. Splash a Clarence Carter sample in on the bridge for some extra soul and you’ve made yourself a winner if you’re Toy Beats and you’ve got your self a winner if you’re reading this now. Cop it below and don’t forget to thank the man.
