What’s the scenario here then? Hot on the heels of its last 45, the Uluru edits label returns with more typical fare as two reggae giants team-up to remix some hip-hop giants – that’s what! In other words, the UK’s JStar and Canada’s Jesse ‘Dubmatix’ King forging a mighty remix of A Tribe Called Quest’s Scenario. Of course mere mortals would be happy just to combine ATCQ’s rapapella with a non-wack beat and aim to get the production as on point as possible. With J ‘n D at the controls though, sublime production was never in doubt, while the riddim is arguably the most natural ever with Tip, Phife and Ali Shaheed Muhammad’s (not to mention guest Busta Rhymes’) vocals. Comes, of course with the instro on the flip – you know – just in case you think you can do better.
