Sometimes dead is better…but not if your punk original can be resurrected inna reggae stylee. Enter Dubmones with their just released latest single featuring vocalists Shniece and Horseman to breathe new life into the Ramones’ Pet Sematary, thirty-six years after the original version appeared and fifty years since The Ramones first gig at CBGB’s in New York. As often seems to be the case with reggae covers it works a treat, so if you dig the work of Hollie Cook – or indeed other stuff by Shniece both of whom Horseman has also previously appeared with – this will go down nicely. Also comes with a dub version and a full Dubmones LP is due to follow in spring 2025.
