It’s been over a decade since Tristan Longworth a.k.a The Third Degree, decided to grit-up Duffy and Kylie’s respective pop hits Mercy and I Can’t Get You Out Of My Head with his own northern soul-style cover versions. One can only speculate how much of that time Smoove has been begging Longworth for the stems so that he get on a remix tip but what matters is that he finally got his hands on them and the results are now available on vinyl 7″. Could Berry Geordie perhaps have made the drums funkier and extended both tracks? He could! You won’t be able to get these out of your head!
