The New Mastersounds’ keyboard player for an not un-Mastersounds-ish serving of the very same in the form of Dame Lo Que Tienes. Oh – sorry – the old school Español not stretch that far? Basically – ‘Gimme What You Got’ – a.k.a three minutes, seventeen seconds of brisk funk drums and a very hooky Hammond riff. Who’s that on guitar though – can’t be Grant Green because he’s no longer with us and Eddie Roberts is – well, he’s in the New Mastersounds, isn’t he so it must be…that’s right! Lucas De Mulder. And he’s not the only guest is he? No, he’s not – because also playing on this is Cinematic Orchestra’s Luke Flowers – presumably on the drums. This is the first single off forthcoming LP Galáctico.
