DJ Dibba makes his third Uluru 45 appearance next week with tracks on both sides of Uluru 023. The first of these – Kingston Garage – is something of a stylistic break from past reggae-hiphop efforts which (as the title suggests) combines dancehall stylings with a 2-step garage beat. But if that sounds like a bridge too far for MB regulars as well as the monkey, you can relax safe in the knowledge that it’s reggae hip-hop business as usual on the flip with Ego Skank as a certain Ice Cube, Busta Rhymes & Killer Mike cut gets its West Coast groove swapped for something a little more reggaefied. Each side aims at a totally different dancefloor but, provided you drop the right cut in the right place, action is very much assured.
