[RATING: 5] Bloody hell! It’s FDEL. I thought he was dead. It’s only been – oohh – nine years since Audiofidelity. He’s still got it though as this seven-tracker amply proves what with there being no fewer than five quality groovesome hip-hop bumps, a nice mellow disco edit and some vocal reggae riddim action on the closer. What you really want this for though is Lyrics Born’s best outing in an age on the horns-rich soulful groove of How Lucky I Am and the phat 90s head nod thump of Somethin’ For Ya Eardrums featuring Surreal. Somethin’ for ya eardrums indeed. Let’s hope our man is no slouch with a follow-up. Or with his PR either since seems to have been somewhat slept on.
