New shit from Del Gazeebo is always cause for celebration because you just know it’s going to be heat so your trigger finger is going to be double quick on the ‘purchase’ button this time when you hear that DG has not one but two releases out. Studio 45 Vol. 2 finds him appearing on one side of a split vinyl 7″ with the A-side featuring DJ Blendah & The Printz with Get Funky In The Heart. Would the latter be a ridiculously floor-friendly, funky disco splicing of Teddy Pendergrass and Dee-Lite? Oh yes, it would. Over to you for the B-side Del – no pressure or anything. Ha! As if our DG would crack under pressure anyway. Did I say B-side? Well that is what it says on the label though some might feel that this splice of Young MC and The Jacksons was every bit the equal of the A-side. Boom!
