In 2007 MB was one year old, Snugs main man Kelvin Swaby was yet to get his big break as frontman of The Heavy, and the Ghetto Funk label was still a glint in the eyes of Slim Goodgroove and Will Streetwise. Fast forward to – er – now – and things have changed. The music on this for example, which switches the original’s minimal rhythm guitar, keys and big horns for pensive synths.
