Say hello to yet another musical collab. born during lockdown when MC Napoleon Da Legend connected with producer Amerigo Gazaway at the start of the pandemic. The pair immediately hit it off and a full album, The World Changed (released next week), was the consequence. Before that drops though, they hit you with single Everything Fresh on which Napoleon Da Legend sorts through his emotions and eventually comes up if not exactly smiling then at least able to stand unbowed with the odd brag bar or two. All this happens over the fat but understated funkiness of Gazaway’s beat to provide something that does indeed sound exceptionally fresh – so you’ll definitely want to check that LP when it’s finally delivered.
