LONDON INTERNATIONAL SKA FESTIVAL 2020: (Postponed until) 28-30 August 2020

Coronavirus outbreak permitting, the London International Ska Festival will still be on this year (its thirty-second year!) though it has been postponed from the original dates of 9-12 April until 28-30 August. The festival organisers are going to considerable lengths to avoid having to engage in mass refunding (which is likely to bankrupt the festival) and have said that tickets
will remain valid for the rescheduled August dates though anyone who can’t make the new dates has the option of transferring their tickets for entry to the 2021 festival (currently scheduled for 1-4 April 2021), The London International Soul Festival 2020 (scheduled for 15-17 October 2020) or any of their other events and cruises which can be found at . Failing that they can also issue a credit note valid for use at any time.

For the new dates, the action will be condensed into three days from the original four, though as ever, the plan is to bring you the finest in both ska and its offspring rocksteady, boss reggae, 2Tone, roots, dub, and dancehall. The programme for the revised dates is still a work in progress but will include reggae, ska & 2 Tone royalty; Big Youth, The Pioneers, Dennis Alcapone, Freddie Notes, Dave Barker, Susan Cadogan, Christopher Ellis & Roddy Radiation from The Specials along with the Do The Dog Skazine All-dayer and club nights galore.
