[RATING: 5] Daptone deliver a massive ‘both sides a winner’ reggae 45 here with If You Ask Me from new-geezer-on-the-block, Leon Dinero, on the A-side and Bandits from been-many-times-around-the-block dancehall legend, Screechy Dan, on – well – the A-side. That’s right, a double A-side and with a cast iron guarantee that you’ll be utterly unable to choose between Dinero’s harking back to the glory days of late sixties rocksteady and Screechy harking back to early dancehall over a dub version of the same riddim. There is absolutely no way on the planet this bad boy is going to hang around so my advice to you is get on it sharpish.
