Dusty Tonez continues to go from strength to strength as a producer and his new drop Shake Ya Booty is formulated to make the girls shake their asses for backstage passes. The breaks are fatter, the sound is fuller and the samples are cooler. The title track wiggles its booty in a ghetto-P-Funk stylee, Tonez wobbles up the Jackson 5’s finest hour with a dash of Mobb Deep, Funky Music wobbles up Wild Cherry with a bit of Chingy and closer Nod Ya Head skanks all the way to hands-in-the-air, sticky-floor-heaven with the aid of a little Baby Boy Da Prince. Did I say the samples were cooler? Well – Baby Boy at least sounds a lot doper on this than the original beat…
